4 Stars Gentle, Moisturizing Shampoo
Our dog’s skin seems better conditioned and moisturized since we’ve been using this product. Also, it doesn’t bother his eyes when I wash his face. Not sure if there’s a correlation, but our pup now seems to enjoy bath time!

This is a nice product for shampooing your cats as well as your dogs. It does not have a strong perfume in it as so many animal shampoos do.

My little pekingese has a very dry skin and itches a lot. After bathing her with the Synergy Groomer’s Blend Oatmeal Protein Shampoo and Conditioner (I bought them both), she seems to be relieved and doesn’t itch like crazy anymore. I very much like the products and I will buy them again.
5 Stars Smells good and made my dog soft!
Made my dog very soft and shiny, plus it smells REALLY good. I wish I could use it on myself! My dog had really bad dandruff, and after washing him with this shampoo it seems to have improved and his skin and coat are both looking healthier.
I will definitely buy it again!

Very concentrated. One bottle goes a long way even with long haired dogs. I didn’t find the shampoo too thin at all, and it has a good but not overpowering scent. The dogs don’t scratch when using this shampoo either. Appears to be soothing to their skin.

I really like this shampoo 0 but as others have said, the pump is worthless, I tried it a few times and it just doesn’t dispense enough.

It is a good dog shampoo but I wanted a little bit more peppermint smell to it. The only other downfall is the pump, with a 100lb dog a pump doesn’t cut it. I had to just pour the stuff onto my dog.
5 Stars Longest-lasting scent and shine I’ve found
I bought this after my dog came home from a kennel that used this line of products. She’s a basset, so she can go stinky pretty quickly. But she was so shiny and smelled fresh for several weeks after this shampoo.
I have no basis to evaluate the natural flea-repellent claim, but I love the lavender scent of this shampoo and I especially love that it keeps her glossy and sweet-smelling, so I will continue to buy this. It’s a little more costly than I would otherwise spend (I certainly don’t buy myself expensive shampoo), but I have to say that it’s been worth it.

my dog has always had skin allergies. he flaked all over my house. this product was recommended by my veterinarian and has single-handedly stopped my dog’s itching. there are no flakes on his coat, and he almost never itches at himself as he used to. great product and decent price! it was well worth it.
1 Star If there were a zero, I’d give it….
I purchased this shampoo from my dog’s vet. She recommended it, saying that she encourages all her patients to use it for shiny clean coats. I used it one time, four days ago, and my dog has been a mess since. Flakey skin, terrible itching, biting his fur off and creating scabby sores all over his hind end. Scratching his snout so much that it’s lost it’s hair and is dark pink and puffy. He panted so heavily due to the discomfort of all the itching. Benedryl did nothing to help him, and only today after trying an Aveeno bath has he gotten enough relief to sleep…and it’s a very deep sleep from not getting must rest the past few days. Poor baby…I’m sorry I used this on him. I’ll stick with his old shampoo. It might be hypoallergenic, but there is something in this stuff that my dog was definitely allergic to.

I recommend thsi shampoo to anybody that has a dog that is allergic to shampoo. Until I tried the Hylyt Shampoo my dog would scratch until his skin bled. He does very little scratching with this shampoo. I ordered it last year for the first time after reading other reviews on this shampoo. My dog thanks you very much for making a shampoo as good as this.

This is a wonderful dog shampoo. It helped my wire-haired terrier’s coat become soft and silky. He has very sensitive skin and we have tried many things for him. This is the best.
