User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars If Kong had infomercials for this, Furminator would be in trouble.
I almost bought a Furminator- I have a cat, a dog, and a living room full of fur. After reading those reviews, I decided any product with enough ‘you’re using it wrong’ stories and the words ‘hurting’ and ‘pulling out’ probably wasn’t for me. Enter the Zoom Groom. I can not believe how much fur this collects, how much my animals love it, or how much less expensive it was than the (somewhat scary) Furminator.

You basically just ruffle your pet’s fur with this in your hand, then brush it back down again. Then peel all of the hair out of the rubber spokey things. Repeat. They are softer than your fingers, so no chance of hurting them. None… & NO CHANCE of pulling out their healthy hair.

My only “problem” with this is that my dog and cat get super jealous when the other one is getting “zoomed” because they don’t want their own zoom time to end. Also, don’t use it under a ceiling fan (silly me).

Perfect for older pets who have achy bones- Perfect for my snobby siamese cat and my aussie-shepherd/yellow lab mix. Perfect.

5 Stars BEST CAT BRUSH EVER
This brush -I don’t know how it works takes out all the dead hair off the cat. Cat loves it too.. You need another brush to catch all the dead hair afterwards to smooth their coat.. Well worth it..

Also shipping was so fast. .I don’t think it was 3 days..

5 Stars Making my cat happy and groomed at the same time
My cat looks forward to her grooming session every day. In fact, if I don’t do it at the usual time of the morning, she reminds me. It not only feels wonderful to her, the Zoom Groom does an excellent job of removing loose hair (she has a medium coat). She used to have “hair-ball” throw-ups several times a month. Now, it only occurs several times a year.

5 Stars Heavenly
Both my cats think they’re in heaven when we brush them. We’ve had two other zoom grooms, but over time they get worn down. The new ones put the cats over the top of purring delight :-)

We’re happy, too. Less hair on the bed, furniture, etc.

3 Stars Cats were not keen!
After reading rave reviews for “The Furminator” grooming tool which my cats absolutely hated, I thought I’d try the “Zoom Groom”, as it appeared to be more gentle. At first both cats who usually love to be brushed weren’t keen at all on this product. After reverting to the normal brush for a few weeks hoping they’d forget all about this product (as they were very reluctant to even be stroked after using this at first), I introduced the Zoom Groom again but very carefully and now they seem to be much better with it. I still wouldn’t say its an amazing product as some people have, as my cats are still a bit hesitant, but it does seem to do an okay job of removing hair when they’ll let me use it.

Valuable Yet Simple Suggestions To Follow When Purchasing Items To Spoil Their Pet

August 29, 2009 by Pet Shampoo · Leave a Comment

The art of dog grooming goes from basic pet management to just about spa-like cosseting. The sort of the dog and its distinct traits should be considered in discovering the necessary needs in grooming your dog. The first thing a pet keeper deals with is dog hair. Long hair dogs that shed, need more frequent grooming than short hair dogs or those who only shed seasonally. It is rather more likely for those dogs that had been going outside often to get a lot of detritus into their coat that

5 Stars The VERY Best Shampoo for your loved one!!!
Earthbath Oatmeal & Aloe Pet Shampoo is the best and most gentle way to bath your loved one. It gives you all the benefits of being all natural, soap free with oatmeal and aloe that Vet’s recommend for sensitive skins. Plus, it leaves your loved one fresh, clean and very, very SOFT! Fur feels like it did when my dog was a puppy! My doggy has very sensitive skin and this comforts and soothes her skin and coat without making her look over conditioned. The scent is fabulous and helps keep her smelling fresh. My groomer has started using it exclusively after I brought it in for her to use on my dog. I can’t say enough good things about the safety and benefits of this pet shampoo

5 Stars Awesome Product!
Great shampoo for dogs with allergies. Rich lather, great smell and a little goes a long way! I have a 70 pound lab and I can bathe her entire body with about two tablespoons of shampoo! Rinses clean, leaves coat shiny. My dog used to itch terribly after a bath, but with this shampoo, she stays itch free! Strongly consider this product if your dog has sensitive skin or allergies.

5 Stars Not safe for cats
This is a wonderful product for dogs, but even though it says “safe for all animals over 8 weeks” it is NOT safe for cats. Tea tree oil is toxic to cats. Please research this topic.

5 Stars excellent product
I really like this product, my weim suffers from several allergies, food, fleas and some weeds in addition to scratching and hives, he developed dry skin and bad dandruff, I’ve tried couple medicated shampoos which helped clear his parasitic infection on the ski, but the dandruff remained, so I thought I’d give this a go and its wonderful, cleared up all dandruff and his skin is calming down a lot (I also changed him to natures variety lamb and oatmeal food), this is definitely a product I’ll keep buying.

Why it is Essential to Keep Your Canine Groomed

August 29, 2009 by Pet Shampoo · Leave a Comment

Many dog owners do not know that it is essential to make sure their canine friends are their dogs well groomed, while they are with their families. It is important in the summer, for dogs to have their fur coats, cared for so they do not over heat during the hot months. Also, if a dog’s nails are not clipped on a regular basis and their nails get too long, it will be painful for them to walk. Finally, having your dog groomed regularly reduces how much fur is shed in your home. Now, if you ar
